EDL: Premiere to Davinci Resolve

When I export an EDL from Premiere and import it to Davinci Resolve, none of the titles match up on the Resolve side. How can I make that work?

Thank you so much!

Are these motion graphics ... legacy titles ... captions ... what?

And define "don't match up" ... that also is very vague. Screengrabs from the two apps, drag/dropped onto your reply box would be great.

Also, I would note ... often in round-trip work from NLE to grading app, titles and FX work may be skipped for grading. Grade comes back from color work into NLE, any finish fudzing with titles is done then.

These are subtitles mostly. I'm trying to avoid unnecessary rounds of encoding. The idea is to have everything in Resolve -- colored picture, titles, everything -- so that we can export one time from there.

However it seems that Adobe Premiere titles are not rendered media, so getting them to link back up might be impossible.

You can of course do an In/Out selection of a mogrt, Export to media, with re-import selected in the Export dialog. Then use that clip to replace the mogrt on the sequence.
