Effects placed on material inside a nest don't work

I have been having multiple issues with nesting. I do a lot of nesting due to the type of board I am building. Something as simple as zooming in on a photo does not work. You can see it inside the nest just fine but when applied to the main sequence there is no movement whatsoever. Plus, a good number of applied effects do not work as well. I have to export the content of the nest and re-import it as a file in order to achieve the desired effect.

    Try resetting the preferences:

FAQ: How to reset preferences in Premiere Pro?

If that doesn't work, try resetting the Workspaces:

    Reset a workspace

Reset the current workspace to return to its original, saved layout of panels.

    1. Do one of the following:
      • Click the Workspace menu icon and select Reset to Saved Layout.
      • Choose Window > Workspace > Reset to Saved Layout.

    from here:

If that doesn’t work ,try updating or rolling back your graphics driver directly from the video card manufacturer’s site.

Thanks Peru Bob. I don't understand the connection but it seems to work. The zoom I trying to achieve this morning is now working properly. I will see if solved the plugin issues as well.

dissolves, vignettes, zooming with scale are just a few of the the effects not working. They work well when playing the nest itselp as a sequence but when the nest is place inside another sequence that is when the problem occurs.

If you want more precision, it might take a few days to give you an answer.
