El Capitan/Yosemite Compatibility?

I have a project on an external hard drive using PP 2017. I'm editing it in an iMac running El Capitan. I decide to edit at the coffee shop, so I grab my MBP running Yosemite. It won't open. I get an error that says: "The project could not be loaded, it may be damaged or contain outdated elements." I went back to the iMac, and it opens. Not sure if it's a bug or something with my particular setup? Anyone else notice this?

This happened to me yesterday, you have to have all the linked files and hard drives that are being used in the project otherwise you get that notification.

I simply ejected the hard drive it was on and connected it to the new machine... All media is on that drive.

Do you have EXACTLY the same version of PPro installed on both?

Is there more than one version of 2017 out? They are both 11.0.0.
