Empty nested sequences

I'm working with a client who has sent me a premier file with 3 nested sequences in the main timeline.

When i open the file Premier updates the file to the latest version CC2018 (12)

Everything appears as it should - I can see the blips, credits, audio and 3 nested sequences

When i scrub through the timeline the monitor is blank

When I open the nested sequence there are no clips inside

Is this a glitch in the translation from an older version of Premier or am i missing something obvious?

Yes. Never seen this before when converting a project to a higher version.

Might want to try 2017 (if its a 2017 project)

When project collected it shows to checkmark the sequences to export, usually all unchecked and one main sequence checked. So when others are unchecked all data in those also left behind. So its exporting mistake i think

While Exporting One might have selected the main sequence but left other sequences unchecked for export.
The files need to be exported correctly by selecting all the available sequences needed.
Hope it helps

If the nest is realy empty it should show diagonal line in the main timeline.
