Encore Crash

Hi,

Every time I try to create a new project in Encore, the program crashes.

When I try to open an old Encore  file, I get a message "ACCESS DENIED"

The program ran fine last month and I have no idea what would cause this

problem and would appreciate any suggestions!

Thank You,

Michael Colten

Thanks John,

I followed your instructions and clicked " run as administrator but it still crashes and won't let me open any old project, dvd or blu-ray.

I deleted the shortcut and created a new one from the Encore  start program  and I still cannot open or run any projects.

Adobe won't support Encore even though I subscribe to the latest Premiere Pro CC each year.

These Premiere files are useless if Encore won't open and allow me to burn DVDs or Blu-ray discs.

Thanks for the suggestion and I would appreciate any other ideas to correct this problem!

Thanks again,

Michael Colten

Just as a test, hit your Windows key, type Encore, right click on it and choose "open as Administrator". See if that makes any difference.

Hi Michael,

Which version of Encore & OS are you on?

Do you have Admin rights on this machine?

Thanks,

Thank You Kulpreet,

I have the latest Premiere Pro CC on my computer but Encore CS6 is the last version of Encore available.

I deleted the entire CS6 Production Suite and reinstalled it but Encore still crashes.

I run A Windows 7 64 bit system with 16Gb Ram.

I know Adobe doesn't support Encore anymore, but I pay for the Premiere Pro CC app each year and all of my

videos as useless to me unless I can convert them and burn them to a DVD with Encore!

Do you have any suggestions? I am the only user so I assume I have Admin rights!

I appreciate your time and effort! I

Gratefully,

Michael Colten
