Encore CS 6 Missing library

Hi

I am aware that Encore is no longer supported by Adobe also that others have had a similar issue to me which I have read the threads and attempted to use the links historically provided in some of the answers all with out any success!!!

I have recently upgraded my editingPC and loaded Adobe CS6 onto my new machine. All is fine with all of the programmes with the exception of my Encore library which no longer appears to be available.

Has anyone any idea if and how I can recover this item and include it in my CS6 suite.

I have looked at all the files withing Encore and CS 6 and cannot see any reference there, also as it was so long ago that I built my old system I have forgotten how I originally loaded the library.

The default location for the Library (on Windows) is here:

C:\Program Files\Adobe\Adobe Encore CS6\Library

Or you can set it eleswhere in Encore preferences:

Edit -> Preferences -> Media

Copy/move the unzipped library to the path above, so the varoius folder "sets" (e.g. General, Corporate, etc) are inside the Library folder.

With CS6, the library was no longer installed by the program nor was it available on the install disks. It was a download. There were two versions: one installed functional content for both Premiere Pro and Encore, but the Encore library included in that download was only a small number of complete menus, but no extra buttons, backgrounds, etc. Another download was the complete Encore library. This latter file is the one linked by John's note above.

The file is not from me; it is an official Adobe document. I just provided the link when it looked like none of the Adobe links to the library worked anymore. We don't know if it will remain available. If you get it, be sure to keep a backup copy.

Many thanks for your update. I have downloaded and unzipped the file but there are no installation instructions !! How / where do I place / install the Library for Encore to recognise them?

You may have to find the library folder on the disk and add it into the installed encore folder on your computer.
