Encore CS6 and PPro CC17

Apologies if this has been asked before....
I have PPro CC and have downloaded Encore CS6 as it isn't available through subscription of CC.
I have done the run or the mill export to Mpeg2 DVD and created the .wav and m2v files. When I bring them into Encore the quality is extremely poor.
I have not changed any export settings I would normally do on my older Macbook Pro when I export from PPro cs6 to Encore cs6, but on my new iMac with PPro CC the same export settings and import/export from Encore CS6 renders really poor results. If i export from PPro CC on iMac then dump on a USB and import to Encore CS6 on the Macbook the quality is back to normal, but obviously this workflow is horseshit. I would like to get this right on the new machine so I can update the OS on my Macbook without worrying about having bugs present through Encore cs6 and render it useless. Any help would be appreciated.
