Question

End Roll Credits issue. Ease in, and Ease out are not causing any change. Is there any setting that can prevent the effect from working as expected.?

End Roll Credits issue

End roll credits speed is effected by changing the length of the text box layer. THis is workign as expected.

However, Ease in, and Ease out are not causing any change.

The text box layer is 30 seconds long and ease in is 3 seconds and ease out is 3 seconds

The test is only 14 lines long with 128 words

Pre roll and Post roll also have no effect.

Is there any setting that can prevent these effects from working as expected.?

Adobe Phone tech support had customer uninstall and reinstall Premiere Por and then reset all Preferecnes but neither action fixed the issue.

What version of Premiere Pro are you using? I tested this on version 26.3, and the Ease-In and Ease-Out settings worked as expected.

What other settings are you using in the Roll/Crawl Options dialog, such as Start Off Screen, End Off Screen, Pre-Roll, and Post-Roll?

    Please confirm that you're entering 3 seconds (00:00:03:00), not 3 frames (00:00:00:03).

Also, are you writing on behalf of someone else, or are you referring to yourself in the third person as "the customer" at the bottom of your post?

    Dear Paul

I am using 26.2.0 ( Build 65) as Adobe tech support floor supervisor uninstalled 26.3 from my computer as he said it had a bug.

I have “Start Off Screen” and “End Off Screen” selected.  When they are not selected the ease in and ease out are also is not working as expected

I do not have any numbers entered for “Intro duration” “Outro duration”, “Reroll” or “post roll”. I do not have “Soften” selected

I have tried entering numbers in those fields to see if that might help fix the issue but it did  not.

I am writing on behalf of myself

Delete the Media Cache and Media Cache files:

    https://community.adobe.com/t5/premiere-pro/faq-how-to-clear-your-media-cache-in-30-seconds-in-premiere-pro-2020/m-p/11017257/thread-id/260446?page=1

Then if there is a yellow or red line above the timeline, press Enter to render the timeline, and it should turn green.

Thank you for your quick response.

The media cache was deleted and no yellow or red line above the timeline

    However, the issue still remains
