Ensuring Good Margins in Facebook Videos

Most of my work involves using still images with zooming and panning. Since the images I use are often quite old, their dimensions differ to a great extent.  Thus black borders are acceptable, as long as they are always symmetrical.  I use the YouTube 720 HD Export Setting;, with maximum rendering.  The video looks fine when played in Quicktime or in iTunes.  When posted on Facebook however, asymmetrical black borders appear on occasion.  Does anyone have any suggestions regarding why this happens, and how it can be corrected?  Thanks.

Can you post a screenshot of your issue on Facebook, along with one of your export settings?

Here's how the image appears in the early stages of being zoomed out:

And here's the margin problem, in this case on the left, that develops occasionally when I zoom out:

I suspect that the problem's source involves a conflict between my Sequence and Export Settings.  Because I often have to work with images that are only available in small sizes, my Horizontal/Vertical sequence settings are 640/360.  And yet I'm exporting to 720p.

    Any suggestions are welcome.  Thanks.

That is the first thing I would correct.  Work in a sequence that matches your desired export.  Rescale small images in Photoshop before import into PP.
