Enter relative timecode without a Number Pad

Hello,

I've been a PPro user for 10 years, but only recently began using PPro on a laptop. How can I enter relative timecode without a Number Pad? For instance, when a clip(s) is selected and I have a numpad, I simply use the numpad "+1.0" and hit enter and the clip(s) move 1 second to the right. How do I do this on my MacBook Pro? You're supposed to be able to select the timecode indicator of the timeline with the Tab button, but that's been broken for a while, and it's not one of Adobe's priorities.

I find it crucially important for keyboard editing on a laptop.

Call Adobe Support, ask for the video queue, and tell them you're interested in bug number DVAPR-4217854

Recently started editing in Premiere on a laptop and I found my way to this thread. Definitely a time saver if this can be implemented soon, I do so much granular adjustments with the numpad plus and minus keys, and not having that functionality is frustrating. Is there no way at all to rebind these commands in the Keyboard Shortcut editor? I'm not sure how to find the binding if it's available at all.

John... Thank you for directing folks to that particular bug. I have been working remotely for several weeks and adjusting to a laptop keyboard. Using the Tab key works! I only wish I'd found your comment 2 or 3 weeks ago, but I'm good now. Thanks.

The tab key still does not work for me, even in beta. Could you please confirm which version you're running? I'm on Windows 1909 btw

You are right, the tab key does not work for the timeline. I'm sorry I'm slow responding. I didn't see your comment until today.

I reviewed your original comment and see that you're talking about the timecode indicator on the timeline. Lucky for me, I only needed the timecode indicator on the Source Window so the tab key worked for me and really helped.

This is a bug that still needs to be solved!

Yea, this is a bit of a pain.

On my Predator, I can set the numeric keypad area, and then enter numbers that pop into the Timecode bar.

BUT ... there's not a separate "enter" button for those, and when I hit the Enter button of the keyboard, it dumps the Timecode bar and starts rendering the timeline.

And I can't figure out a way around this. Would be nice if we had a keyboard short we could modify for this.
