Question

Equalize a compressed video non-linearly - how? | Gestauchtes Video nicht-linear entzerren - wie?

I have an old VIDEO that is compressed at the edges of the image. I would have to "dewarp" these edges so that the image looks about as normal on the left and right as it does in the middle. I can't find a way to implement this. Does somebody has any idea? In Adobe Photoshop you can do this with the "Warp" effect in the "Transform" menu - this effect does exactly what I need: If I select the image and start dragging at the edge, this edge of the image is stretched the most. While the stretching effect continues to decrease towards the middle. How do I do this with a video? Premiere or After Effects? Again: The video as a whole is NOT meant to be simply pulled apart.

Example 2: jpg image then stretched with Adobe PS:

Example link 3: Isolated example of what I mean Adobe Premiere or After Effects should do:

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Premiere oder After Effects?
Nochmal: Das Video soll NICHT INGESAMT einfach auseinandergezogen werden.

Danke

If you want just the edges stretch then you will have to use After Effect.

If you want the entire picture stretched  in the width (which looks more natural) use Scale (either from Motion or Transform Effect).
