Error code: 1 (Selector 47) when trying to encode

Hi,

I'm attempting to do a fairly simple encode, and getting the following (using Media Encoder, with 2017.1.2 Premiere Pro release):

On Windows 10 64-bit.  Original footage recorded with DXTory, using UtVideo YUV422 BT.709 VCM.

I've tried re-recording the footage entirely - no joy, still the same error when Premier attempts to encode (both in media encoder and Export options).  The footage plays back fine in Premiere itself.

Does anyone have any ideas (it'd be nice if I could find what Error code: 1 is)
