Error Message "file has no audio or video streams" CS6 on MAC

Install latest QuickTime player, clean PR cache or if its happening to your previously created project like media pending just rename the media source folder and relink it the files.

In my case, I uploaded the file from an iPhone. All 4 videos were successfully moved to premiere but two of them showed the same message, "The file has no audio or video streams." Some said download Quicktime but I have seen reviews that it's not good for Windows. Here's what I did (and it worked for me)

          I downloaded a video editor on my phone and uploaded the video on the editor (I used Splice editing app.) I did not do any changes in the video, I just saved the exported the video from Splice. I think it kinda changed its format (i dont know for sure.) Then the file can now be moved to premiere pro.
