Error uploading video premiere pro

I am currently trying to upload a video to Premiere Pro, but the actual video clip is refusing to play properly and I am getting a notification saying  “Error retrieving frame from 0 at frame 00;00;00;00 from the file”

 

Is it something I'm doing? Or is it the clip?

Report back with the codec details of your file, use the program below
Free program to get file information for PC/Mac http://mediaarea.net/en/MediaInfo/Download
- when you analyze your file in MediaInfo and post a screen shot in the forum, do so in TREE view

The video is just of an old ford car commercial.

Are you reading this from a card reader, or have you already uploaded the image file to a local drive for your computer? As Premiere really needs your media files to be on a regular drive.

The video clip is already oplosdrd to premiere pro. But when I drag it to the section to edit it, the screen where it's supposed to play doesn't play and a notification in the right hand corner says what I described
