Essential Graphics Template Asset Missing

Hi guys,

I've made a few essential graphics templates (which are awesome, by the way). Some of them have logos for our company (in PNG format).

When they're imported into Premiere they mostly preview fine, however, upon export, we're getting color bars in place- clearly, the logo asset is missing.

So, here are some questions I have:

-Is it referencing the logo from somewhere? Or is it baked into the motion graphics template file?

-If it's referencing the logo, how do I re-hook it up? Is it even possible in Premiere? Or do I have to return to the original comp in AE?

-If it's not, why is the logo not connecting to the template?

Hi,

This is how I managed to fix it (at least for now).

I backed up all the files in the "Motion Graphics Template Media" folder which should be in the same folder as your project.

Then I deleted everything in the folder, loaded up the project, offlined all the missing media, then saved and closed the project.

I put everything back in the "Motion Graphics Template Media" folder from my backup.

Then relinked one of the offline files and premiere took care of linking the rest of them.

Had the exact same issue, I had a background stock footage that wasn't being exported in the .mogrt file I was exporting. 

 

The fix for me was renaming my background footage to a reasonable length. The original file name for the footage was ridiculously long (171 characters).

If you're wondering what the file name was it's:
"videoblocks-animated-closeup-fireplace-and-gifts-in-the-christmas-socks-on-bricks-background-luxury-and-elegant-dynamic-style-template-for-winter-holiday_hyil2bhfp_1080__D"

Changed the name to "background" and it worked like a charm.

    Renaming the PNG sequence to have a shorter file name worked for me. Thank you Jorge!

    The answer is ... it depends.You were expecting that, right? Especially if you're moving mogrts with assets from one machine to available in many.

    When mogrts include assets, those assets need to be handled correctly, as they're placed in the comp or whatever over in Ae. I've made some mogrts there, and a couple did this behavior and I had to figure out how to fix it, but sadly, the gray cells above my glasses haven't retained that specific little detail among all the other things I've been trying to retain in working in Ae. Ahem.

    I think asking this in the Ae forum would get a quick answer. Although probably someone around here has more of their Ae work memorized than I do.
