Essential Motion Graphics Template option greyed out

Hello

I use APP 2023. I want to create a template for future projects based on a project I completed last week. So I go to 'Graphics and Titles' and try and click on 'Export as a motion graphics template'. However it is greyed out. Does anyone know why this should be?

I dont see any template.

If you are referring to the mp4, that wont work.

You need to make text, shapes or whatever in the Essential Graphics Panel,

then you can save it as a template/mogrt

I marked what @Ann Bens said as correct. You need to right click on a Graphic in the timeline or have one selected to access the Export as MOGRT command.
