Estimated File Size Too Big When Exporting PNG Stills in Premiere Pro

I am trying to export an Instagram Story video with PNG stills that I created in Illustrator. It's just a 20sec video but for some reason the estimated file size says 4GB+. These PNGs are about 4-5MB so I am very confused as to why the video file size is so large.

What are the correct export settings for this Instagram video?

I may not understand your situation (but that's never stopped me before).  well what's the frame rate?  standard video is usually something between 24 and 30 fps so 20 seconds could be 600 files at 30 fps which would be something around 2.5 gigs.  And frame rates can go much higher.  Do some googling to find what the specs are for instagram videos.  a png sequence would not be an appropriate format for instagram...

Yeah I did a PNG sequence for an Instagram Story video. The reason being the first video I created on Canva resulted in pixelated images so I thought to create the video in Premiere to control the quality. The video is 29.97fps. I've checked the specs but I am struggling to find a convenient and surefire way to create high quality Instagram videos with Adobe apps. Any suggestions would be much appreciated.

I had to edit a video for a client for posting on Instagram 7 months ago.  I output with pixel dimensions of 1080x864.  If you customize the youtube preset by changing the pixel dimensions, you should probably be ok.    I just did a search and found this

https://www.oberlo.com/blog/best-instagram-video-format#:~:text=The%20best%20Instagram%20video%20format%20is%20MP4.&text=264%20codec,30%20fps%20(frames%20per%20second)

which says 1080x920.   so you might try both and see which works best on instagram.
