Everything from Premiere Pro is gone!!!

I've got a university assignment due in 4 days, and all my work is gone?! it's not even just the project that I was working on, all my other projects are gone too as if it's the first time I've used Premiere, and it's just started up. I'm not worried about the other projects, as I had already handed them in, but there is nothing in the 'app', nothing in my files and nothing hanging around my desktop.  I had been working on it for a while as well and had saved my project and been able to come back to it days after, but I don't even have a single auto-save. There are no signs of anything, but when I search on my Macbook finder, I can see the media I used in the project when I search for the project name. I'm really, really stressed and freaked out, and I'm getting a headache haha so if someone could please help me I'd really appreciate it. I've looked through the forums, and Google searched, and nothing seems to work.
