“Expand all tracks” only works after clicking “Minimize all tracks”

Is there a way to make the “Expand all tracks” feature work right away? When I click “Expand all tracks,” nothing happens. I have to click “Minimize all tracks” first, and only then “Expand all tracks.” Who came up with such a silly and inconvenient feature? Is your logic working? Make this feature working with just one click! I have noticed this problem in more than one version of the Premiere and no one wants to solve it. I don't need AI, I need normal functionality

You can also use shift (or alt for one track) and scroll over the header

I would normally suggest resetting preferences, but from previous threads, I know that you don’t want to do that. Try creating a new project and import the old one into it.

This problem occurs in different projects, at different times, and with different builds. Something strange is happening with the interface. I don't see the point in resetting the settings, because I've customized everything to my liking, and resetting them has never helped solve the problem. So I don't see the point in doing that now—I'll just waste my time copying the settings back. Besides, I only really need a couple of settings—Win, Effect Presets and Custom Items, and Layouts. I delete all the other folders so there aren't any unnecessary or old files. But I doubt the Layouts and keybinding files are to blame—I don't see a connection.

@Paul_Gringo One way to reset the Preferences just to test and then quick go back to the Preferences you have now is to:

Close Premiere
Go to C:\Users\UserName\Documents\Adobe\Premiere Pro\26.0\Profile-User
Rename the file Adobe Premiere Pro Prefs to ZZ-Adobe Premiere Pro Prefs
Launch Premiere and test if it helped with “Expand all tracks” or not.

To get back, close Premiere and go to C:\Users\UserName\Documents\Adobe\Premiere Pro\26.0\Profile-User again and delete Adobe Premiere Pro Prefs and rename ZZ-Adobe Premiere Pro Prefs back to Adobe Premiere Pro Prefs and launch Premiere again.

This is a fast and efficient way to do a quicktest without having to set up the Preferences again if it did not solve the issue.

Most of the time, yes, but 3 times out of 10, this option doesn't work for me. And I just don't get it—why? There's no logical reason for it, and it's super weird!
