Question

Export crashes are unacceptable.

This is simply a frustrated rant at this point, because there are countless threads about crashes on export.

I have updated my premiere to the most recent versions but this has been happening non stop for over a year now, i never know when a project will be an issue anymore, when it comes to exporting, sometimes it exports just fine, other times it doesnt, program simply crashes and quits, both on windows and Mac.

And i simply cant justify the costs to Adobe anymore at this point, Bridge remains completely broken, lightroom will simply not become faster no matter the updates and machine I am using.

All the while we keep being bombarded with this AI nonsense that nobody is asking for.

Take it however.. but I am beyond frustrated at this point with the ammount of time i am spending trying to export a simple project...

It's a right pain if the blame things aren't working, and any of us can agree with that. I've at times had un-heavenly messes too, so total sympathy from me

The problem here is, for the vast majority of us, the programs you mentioned are all working, and right well, in fact. Remember, with several million daily users of Premiere alone, if a high percentage of users were having say export issues, this forum would have thousands of posts about that. Which it doesn't.

So ... to get down to why thee apps aren't on your rig, specifics are needed. OS/CPU/GPU/RAM, to start, the media type, effects used typically and of course any 3rd party plugins or similar used.

Maybe we can get things sorted and get you working again.

I work daily in Resolve also, have for years, and they're having more issues with each new release there also.  Yea, video post software's a right pain.

You are absolutely right, and my background being in IT i know full well how these things go. But this forum is indeed full of people complaining about crashes and issues that have been called years ago and remain to this day, this is no secret.

As for my specs,
Windows 11 11 Pro - Version 10.0.26220 Build 26220

Intel 13th Gen Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-13700KF, 3400 Mhz, 16 Core(s), 24 Logical Processor(s)

64GB RAM

RTX 5070

No third party plugins.

I truly am curious to see if we can figure something out here, but I too have been working with the entire adobe suite for over 15 years and I have dealt with the same issues in MAC, Windows and several different environments, my rant isnt completely unjustified here 😉

Thanks for your reply.

Not saying your rant isn't justified, I tried to be clear ... we've all been there. I do maintain the understanding though that because I'm being stiffed by software (and Premiere certainly isn't the only software I've had issues with!) I do have to maintain a sense of perspective.

As ... again ... with several million daily users, when they do have really major issues, this forum JUMPS with many, many long threads. There are times have been a couple hundred posts and more a day on an issue.

There are others with export issues, yes! But not that many "overall", and from monitoring the forum pretty closely, many are specific to hardware/OS/media and effects in use. Such as say an issue for M2 Macs with a specific Red codec ... which only affects those users.

Is it an export issue? Yep. Is it the same as yours or a PC user with AVCHD? Nope.

And there is where the fun lies. Sorting out this crap.

@RJL195360 is someone that can often help with the specifics on PCs.
