Question

Export Crashing with GPU Acceleration

I have a Sequence in a project the crashes the Export every time with GPU acceleration on but not with GPU acceleration off.

I can do a complete Export in that Project with a simple Sequence with GPU acceleration on.

The simple Sequence is just a long video with no editing.

    Hi FLBreen!

The GPU is only used during rendering if there are GPU-accelerated effects such as scaling or Lumetri. If the GPU won't speed up the process, Adobe apps leave it alone! If your video is just one long video with no editing in it, your GPU is probably not being used.

However, it definitely shouldn't crash like this! I would suggest checking if you have any updates available for your graphics driver.

    Hope that helps!

I just updated my graphics driver today and the result was the same error.

The sequence that blows up is multi-camera enabled.

I have done many of these multi camera edits in the past and I never got this error.

I noticed there is a  difference with this project from the past ones.

I accidentally set my two Canon HF-300 camcorders to different resolutions.

One is set to 1920 x 1080 and the other is set to 1440 x 1080.

I realize that should not cause a problem but that is the only thing odd about this project.

I have another multi camera project on this PC and it Exports well.

Both camcorders were set to the same 1920 x 1080 resolution.

    Thanks

Can you post a screenshot of the alert window you get when it crashes? Or find your crash log and show us what it says? Usually it shows where in your timeline Premiere Pro encountered a problem and that helps diagnose what's happening.
