Export Issue Regarding DJI Drone Video Files

First time poster so you know the issue is real...

I've edited a project using multiple clips recorded from a DJI drone device. (mp4 - h264/29.97/4k)

WITHIN the project, the clips play *fine* on the timeline as does the motion graphics & any other layers included.

BUT, when I export the project, those drone clips are a single still frame with all other corresponding layers & effects playing normally above it.

I tried NUMEROUS ways to isolate the problem. When I run the raw clips through encoder, each comes out as a single still frame video. I tried removing all the effects within my premiere projet just to get a "clean" export to work with--- still has the same issue.

I've updated all my video drivers (NVidia GF RTX 3050 Ti Laptop), Adobe software versions, etc. It didn't help.

So without resorting to wasted extra time on Handbrake & other apps to find a "friendlier" format, has ANYONE run into this and found a viable solution with Adobe?

There is an issue with H.264/5 I believe in 23.1, Francis Crossman posted the warning about that. If you are on 23.1, that might be the issue. At which point, reverting to 23.0 is the current fix.

Actually, I had to go back to 22.6.3 with Encoder. But that ultimately solved the problem. Thanks!

Try reverting the GPU driver back to the 517.40 Studio driver, as for many Nvidia users, the later drivers are causing troubles.

Just did a clean rollback with 517.40... Same problem. And at this point, I am solely exporting a couple of the raw clips in a sequence with matching attributes just to troubleshoot.

But like I said, it plays on the timeline with no problem. I've NEVER had an issue like this... I'm not using proxies or anything either.

Any other ideas?
