Hi

I am currently working with 4k video and want to export to 1080 but want that sound and video to be combined into one file and the best quality.

Cant seem to find this option.

Thanks a bunch for the help

chris

I don't edit 4k, so I can't comment on "best" quality when reducing to 1080, but I do export to MP4 which has audio and video in one file (not in the program right now, but I think the codec is H.264)

I guess I'm not quite understanding.

For this you can either edit in a 4k timeline created by simply dragging a clip of the media onto a blank timeline area, and PrPro will make one for you. At export, you choose a 1080 setting and modify to taste (if needed).

For a 1080 sequence, there's a number of presets or you can modify & save-as-preset to make your own.

And for most all codecs & settings you would export to, both video and sound are exported together.

If you have audio separate from your video clips that you want on the sequence, you import that just like any video clip, and drag/drop it into place on an audio track in your sequence.
