Export trouble

Hello I am having trouble with exporting my short film. I have edited and color graded it in premiere and it looks good on the screen of my MacBook Pro 2021 M1 max. I am exporting to adaptive but rate high quality and when It is exported it looks great on the computer screen. However when I plug in to my tv to see it on a larger screen(through hdmi cable) it looks way grainier/ noisier, and lower quality. What am I doing wrong!?? Please help!!
