Exported 4K UHD video looks terrible on YouTube

I have exported a 4K UHD video using the correct preset in Premiere but it looks absolutely terrible on YouTube, what am I doing wrong?

    Hi @pushcreativity,

    Thanks for the message, especially the screen shots. How does the video look before you uploaded it? If it is OK, give YouTube some time to clean up some of that compression. It may take 24-48 hours before you see better online quality. The footage is very complex, so that is probably why it will take awhile. Let us know what happens.

    We've worked out that it was mismatching colour spaces between the sequence and the video files. I have uploaded another file and the colour is better but the compression still looks bad, at the moment. As you say, YouTube might take some time to sort that.
