Exported Video Problems

So I exported a 40 min project with the youtube 1080p setting (wasn't initially planning on uploading it). The project exported no problem, it seemed like it took the right amount of time. However when I go to the video post exporting, it acts as a corrupted file. Weird I thought, so I exported it again but under the match source high bit rate preset. Both files ended up either corrupted or incompatible with any program I have to play the video. Despite each file displaying that they are 1kb in size, my hard drive is essentially full now, due to the fact that there are two 40 min 1080p videos. And deleting these files doesn't seem to remedy the hard drive space. Please Help.

I exported a separate project with the same footage about 1 min long, and it worked fine.

Then try a longer segment ... and if that pukes, something in that segment is the issue. Try longer segments until you can export the entire thing.

To get an export to complete, you'll need at least 4 times the expected final file size open space on the drive BEFORE you start the export.

You either need to clear a lot of space, export to the "data" drive, or add another drive. I'd clear a lot of space on your system drive period.

I apologize if I did not illustrate this clearly, but I did have hard drive space before I exported. After the second export, my drive was pretty full, despite the file sizes of merely 1 kb. Since posting this, I did try exporting to the data drive but to no avail.

Have you tried using a different project or creating a new one to test exporting with that? Doing that you can find out if this is just the way that your setup is running now (and we trouble shoot for that), or if the project is corrupt (and we troubleshoot for that).
