Exporting a project with effects and time remapping to Da Vinci Resolve

I want to do my Colour Grading in Da Vinci Resolve. Of course I have some effects and time remapping in my project that don't carry over when I export to Da Vinci Resolve. I was looking at a way to overcome that. I looked into the "render and replace" function. I was hoping I could select the various sections where I had effects and time remapping and use that function and it would create a new clip on the timeline "burning in" the effects and what not in a new clip. I can't seem to get this to work. Is this not what it is supposed to do? Is there another option short of doing it manually, i.e. selecting and exporting each section and re-importing them on the timeline?

Hi, did you ever find an efficient way to go about this?

Thank you

I guess you might need to render out the sequence in lossless format and then import it to the DR and cut the whole sequence to separate clips (I know it's a bit pain in the..., but I find less time consuming than switching off the effects in premiere) . If you have dissolves between cuts you should use dinamic keyframes in DR to solve some smooth grading changes. I there are clips overlayed, and masked than you have to mask accordingly. Never easy...

I don't think you can, at least not easily.

Render and Replace will not bake in effects (though it seems like it should to be truly useful.)

Indeed, I wonder then what`s the use of the "render and replace" function if it does not render the effects. Seems like a misnomer
