Question

Exporting edited video at the same settings you imported it

I record a lot of meetings in Adobe Connect. I want to be able to edit them and then export the video at the same settings that Adobe Connect does.

1280 x 720 Data rate 132kbps

Total Bitrate 188kbps

19.00 frames per second

Audio bit rate 56kbps

Sample ratre 44.1 kHz

Apart form the fact that Premiere does not seem to do 19 frames per second, even if I try to replicate the above settings, but 15 frames per second. When I export I end up with a video that is nearly 10 times as large as the original.

2 questions how do I replicate the exact settings of the video I am editing on the timeline and why is there not a preset in Adobe Premiere for Adobe Connect videos?

All help gratefully received

Hi Stengol,

You can have Premiere Pro create a sequence based on your footage.

Simply import footage into your project, and place it on the timeline.

The sequence will use your Connect footage paramaeters.

When exporting, check the match sequence option and you should be good to go.

Thanks for the reply.

So when I check the match sequence option for some reason it changes the container from an MP4 to a MOV file.

Drag the file onto the timeline, say yes I do want to change the sequence, try to output and it changes it. Any idea why and how I can keep it as MP4?

The only reference I can find on the sequence settings  to a MOV is the Preview File Format comes up as Quicktime
