Exporting from Premiere Pro

I have exported from Premiere Pro and my file is a .mp4 but my Mac won't open the file and says its not supported. I have the newest version of MacOS and verion 22.5 of Premiere Pro. Media Encoder says the file format is not supported. I've cleared cache and uninstalled/installed Premiere, but can't view the file. I receive no errors when exporting so I'm not sure what the problem is. Any ideas?

That looks like pretty basic export settings. Try another format. Try ProRes, see how that goes. You only have to do a part of it / set in - out points and export with in/out points. Try anything else to see that you can get it to play.

Which preset did you use for that export? A screengrab. dragged/dropped onto the text reply area would be helpful.
