Exporting through AME, won't export my Lumetri colour?

Hey guys

When exporting my RED footage from Premier Pro to AME, it exports all good but the colour grading (Lumetri colour) doesn't seem to render.

I've seen this was an issue with previous versions (2015 PP) but is anyone else still having this issue?

I feel like i'm missing something extremely simple?

Cheers

Hi Jono,

Thanks guys glad to know i'm not the only one.

I actually have purchased 3rd party colour presets and managed to get around it yesterday by pasting them into the AME applications contents folder. Now it exports with the colour intact. Yay.

Sorry for this situation. We are seeing this issue with third party LUTs and custom LUTs added outside the application (by adding them to the app package), and sometimes with projects updated from previous versions.

Right! You may have seen this issue in the past, as there was a bug that existed related to LUTs carried forward in updated projects. As I understand it, that is fixed.

Though I'm glad adding the LUTs to the AME app package worked for you, we do not recommend customers handle the package contents at all. You can avoid this problem by adding third party LUTs only within Premiere Pro going forward.

If that does not work for you, please send me a PM.

Thank you,

Kevin

Hi jonathans15887845,

Sorry for the export issue. It is a known issue & we are working on a fix. As a workaround, please export the sequence directly from Premiere Pro.

Thanks,

Vidya.

In Media Encoder's "General" preferences tab, is "Import Sequences Natively" checked?

If so, uncheck it ... as shown here. Then test, and see if this works.
