exporting timeline results in a 1kb file

Up until two days ago i was rendering and exporting using h265 codec(high bitrate). Though it took hours, the export gave me quality results. But I tried it again after a couple of key updates and it rendered but the resulting file  was a whopping 1kb.Never encountered this before.
