exporting to video tape

Hello
I would like to export to a video tape (to a DV camera) from Adobe Premiere Pro 14.0.1 but I can't !

 

I can't apply the Adobe instructions described on the page below because I don't have "Playback Settings" in my "Sequence Settings" with my software version: https://helpx.adobe.com/premiere-pro/using/exporting-videotape.html


Moreover the option File > Export > Tape (DV/HDV) is always off so I can't use it.

 

Is my Adobe Premiere Pro version too recent ??

 

Does anyone have a solution and could help me please?

I think the help file is wrong. Go to Edit > Preferences > Playback and make sure that the checkbox for Adobe DV is checked for the Video Device and then click on Setup.

 

AFAIK, Playback Settings has never been in the Sequence Settings.

    I think Adobe changed it to Edit to Tape (see window dropdown menu).

    Yes because I CAN capture videos from this camera.

    I have noticed for about 1 year you can  still transfer the video tape from a Mini DV camera to the PC using Premiere Pro and Firewire but you cannot export back to tape using Firewire. 

    On the Mac side I have been told you cannot even transfer the DV tape using a Mini DV camcorder. Not sure why Adobe did that.

      A precision: I can capture from this same DV camera !!
