external field audio tracks missing on import

hi there,

i've been importing video with field audio (boom w/2+ lavs) onto my timeline to sync. but three audio tracks go missing. as per our SOUND REPORT, 12 tracks were recorded but only 9 show up in the timeline!

i have"turned on" all 12 audio tracks but only 9 import.  in the scene in question. track 5 was not used. do  tracks adapt? or, would pr pro just leave track 5 empty?

any feedback is appreciated since i'm trying to identify the BOOM MIX track(!).

thank you.

Right click your clip in the project panel and choose Modify>Audio channels

Along the top of the dialogue you will see the 'Media source channel:'

If you have 12 source channels listed then check you have them mapped correctly.

If only 9 are listed, then Premiere is only recognising 9 and there is nothing you can do in the config to get them on the timeline. If thats the case, check your clips in some other apps to see if 12 channels are listed. Try "MediaInfo" to see if its channel counts tallies with what Premiere is seeing.
