External Mic Audio and Premiere

Hi,

I recently got a Canon XA50 and I am learning the new format of the MXF file/xf-avc.  I have learned that it is a great file to work with in Premiere Pro 2019, but when I try importing the file into my timeline, I notice that Premiere does not import my external audio from my boom mic, just audio from the internal mic on the camera.  My work around to that is I convert the mxf/xf-avc footage into mp4 and my external sound is in the clip, no issues, I'm just not sure if I have a setting wrong on my camera or this is just how Premiere works with mxf/xf-avc footage. Does anyone have any tips? Thanks!

UPDATE: I found the problem. Nevermind.

Cool Adam!
What did you do to fix it? Others might be helped.

Thanks!
