Extreme Memory usage loading thumbnails

Premiere uses al the ram available when loading thumbnails and then crashes.

Also when i adjust the settings in the memory settings from premiere, it makes no difference.

 

I7 13700

Mem 64 GB

GPU Nvidia 1070 

Windows 11

Hi there,

I'm sorry to hear about this. Do you also see this issue while adding media to a new project? Please let us know if you see this issue with a specific file type. Also, if you have any third-party plugins installed, please try temporarily disabling them (Here's how) and let us know if that helps.

already had someone reset the whole creative suite with no help. I recently raised my Virtual Memory quite a bit and it seems to be working now. Still extreme high cpu and Mem use but manageable.
