Faking a Blooper Reel

Okay. So my client wants a blooper reel for his social media. The issue is that it's a salt and pepper grinder and there was only one talent. Nothing all that funny happened. So I need to fake a few to make it run smooth. Has anyone ever done this or am I crazy for trying? Making good footage look bad isn't exactly what you're supposed to do.

There are a few drops and giggles to fill the space, but how do you professional looking product promos funny?

Any tips on anything would be great. Or just let me know if I'm asking in the wrong place.
