Hi everyone,

Premiere version 26 should be available in Creative Cloud Desktop app. Let us know if you are experiencing any issues with the update.

Thanks,

Sumeet

Premiere Pro Beta (v25.6 beta builds)

  • The Object Mask Tool (AI-powered subject/object selection + tracking) is available only in Premiere Pro Beta.
  • You access it via:
    • Creative Cloud → Beta appsPremiere Pro (Beta)
  • In beta, the tool appears directly in the toolbar and lets you:
    • Hover over people/objects
    • Click once to auto-generate a mask
    • Track the mask forward/backward automatically

As noted in many places, the new masking tool is in the 26.0 full release, which is being slow-rolled out by region. So, many of us do not have that available yet.

It's been in the 26.x public beta for some months now.

Use version 26.0 for the new object mask tool.

I would love to, but it's not yet available as an update for the Mac M1 Max...at least for me.

Creative Cloud does not offer any further updates.

Are there minimum requirements for the OS?

The update rolls out now and some can download it now and some will have to wait for a couple of hours. I am one of those who will have to wait.

Hera are all requirements: Adobe Premiere technical requirements

Good question, I'm wondering the same thing... After updating to the latest version 25.6.4, there is no sign of an object mask tool...
