I use a music editing software called cubase. The zooming , previewing clips and chopping functionality could make premiere WAY EASIER to use and quicker. EVERYONE would praise an update to do this in premier. Watch this video. https://youtu.be/kJcYwZQnJos

The zooming can be done with Alt+Mouse Wheel.

The grid/cutting just isn't practical for an NLE.

The Solo button for the track or the Enable/Disable feature on the clips handles the third part.

Clearly thats how you do it. Im talking about quicker better ways.

Shift C cut video to the beat of music. Not grid cutting. Then use the x to view and hide. For music videos it would NO DOUBT be more efficient.
