File Import Failure

Hello all.

 

I was trying to import a file into Adobe Premiere and encountered a dialog box telling me 'The file has an unsupported compression type' (Screenshot Attached below.)

 

I am wondering if there is anyway to fix this (to be able to import the file and go along my way editing.)

 

Any help is greatly appreciated.

Premiere does not support mkv.

Convert with either Handbrake or Shutter Encoder.
