Hi I keep getting a message saying a file is missing. I've tried to located it using link media but to no avail. However my question is, how can I see which file in my sequence is being referred to? I suspect it is picking up an file that is not longer required anyway, so I'm just wasting a lot of time looking for it to relink...

I can see 'Reveal in Finder' in the Project Panel, say. But is there something like 'Reveal in Sequence'? It's starting to drive me round the twist!

  1. Click the context menu in the Project panel and enable Preview Area.
  2. Select the missing clip in the Project panel. The Preview Area will display how many times the clip is being used.
  3. Click the down arrow next to "video used # times" to show a list of sequences where the clip is used.
  4. Click one of the listed sequences, and Premiere will load that sequence in the timeline and jump to the clip.
