Find/Search function not finding clips

Recently, PP's Find/Search function has stopped working. The project will be running as normal (Find/search working fine) then, randomly, it will stop working. When I type in the name of any file it will not return any results. The only solution I've found is to open a new project and copy everything over. This works until the find/search stops working in the new project and the cycle begins again. Using version 24.1.0
