Finding and saving an adjustment layer
I exported a clip from Adobe Premiere Pro with an adjustment layer applied to it in order to give it a cinematic look. My instructions are now to apply that same look to different clips. I can't copy the look of that clip because I can't find the timeline that has the adjustment layer on it. If I wanted to search for the adjustment layer among the several versions of the project I have, or even somewhere on the computer, then is there a way to do that efficiently? My lesson here is to somehow export the adjustment layer as a preset and I am open to any feedback about how to organize my assets better.
Here's what happened: I had been trying to apply a cinematic effect to the video and was guided by this clip :How to get the CINEMATIC LOOK in Premiere Pro - YouTube (I hope readers of my question find this useful, as I did).
I created a new adjustment layer, followed some of Christians directions, added them onto a clip and then exported the clip as an .mp4. The client liked the look. I uploaded the clip (with the adjustment layer) into a new sequence. Although I could try to replicate the look on a new clip, I'd like to find the adjustment layer file. I have tried typing "adjustment layer" in the search bar for every project bin I have. Is there a way to search efficiently for an adjustment layer within a project? If I did export an adjustment layer as a preset, what would the file extension be on my iMac hard drive.
Thanks,
Adam
