Firefly will not let me open a file in Premiere pro. I am getting this message "Can't open in Premiere desktop."

Are you using Premiere Elements or Premiere Pro?

If you don’t have a lot of experience with Premiere regards Sequence settings etc.  the easiest way to get into it is to create the New Project, and then hit Skip when it invites you to import media.

That takes you to the Project: ‘Project Name’  window into which you can simply drag your video files and stills.  Select one of your video files, and drag it to the Timeline. That automatically creates the sequence with appropriate settings.  From there it is easy to proceed.  Rather than try and learn it all from the get go, you could try waiting till you get stuck and Asking Google for the solution.  Googles new Ai tools are sensationally good and useful now.

If you re using still in the video timeline, open them in Photoshop first, and crop with one of the Film/Video presets.  I have created presets for the Crop tool for the video formats I use.
