First Caption Not Showing when Exporting Quicktime with Embedded Closed Captions

Hey! I've embedded my closed captions into my quicktime Apple ProRes HQ, however when playing back on Quicktime Player the first caption isn't coming up. Is there a reason for this? I checked my settings and the IN and OUT points are at the correct times, not sure what's happening or if this is just a glitch.

    Import back into PR. Be sure Preferences -> Media is set to import embedded captions. What does it show?

    I managed to make it work. The first caption needs to be "paint on" instead of "pop on." Just a subtle requirement from the .scc I received. But you're right I believe the import settings needed to be optimized for embedded captions.
