Fix for flicker in input video?

I recently shot video of a training presented on a large, conference room display screen, and the resulting video was marred by a pronounced flicker . This was probably due to the refresh rate of the screen in question, but I'm wondering whether Premiere Pro offers any options for reducing or eliminating this problem. I've already tried using the anti-flicker slider in the Motion effect control menu, but that had no effect on the flickering, even when I slid the slider all the way to its max. setting. I'm hoping someone can offer a solution, as re-shooting this segment is not an option, and several people are going to rely on the video to glean information from the training.

Thanks.

I have used this plug-in on several flickering shots

What does this mean? You locked a camera down pointed at a display screen and recorded the screen?

Is the screen the only element in the image?

Is the program that was fed to display screen obtainable from the originator?

The videocam was mounted on a tripod and pointed at a large display screen in a conference room. Various Excel and PDF files were displayed on this screen. During the training session, I swiveled the camera about to capture the presenter speaking from his seat and to capture him illustrating technical details on a white board. However, the majority of the footage featured the material he was projecting onto the display screen.

Any of the files he was displaying could be made available to me, but I'm certain that the flickering problem doesn't stem from the content but from the conference room display screen in particular. This is because, later in the session, we had to leave the conference room and reconvene in the presenter's office, where identical and similar material was projected onto a fairly large computer screen. Video of that screen wasn't marred by any flickering at all.

Acquire the original materials and add them to the sequence over the top of display shots.
