[FIXED] Premiere Pro 2020 - Plane to Sphere is not working as intended / AE is doing it right!

Update: The latest GeForce Driver incl. Reboot fixed the issue:

Original: I am editing a 360 video and tried to cover the nodal point with an image/logo. Added the logo and applied "Plane to Sphere" and moved the logo via projection tilt. However, the warping is not working right and the logo gets cut off at the edges of the frame. I double-checked the sequence settings and they are set to VR.

I tried so many different things and followed tutorials that I finally gave up and did the same thing in After Effects. And Logo, Plane to Sphere and... wow, the behavior and the warping is totally different and it suddenly does exactly what it should do.

So I tribble checked the settings between AE and Premiere Pro and I do exactly the same, but the behavior is different in both applications. It works great in AE but not at all in Premiere.

Please Fix!

can you try to nest the sequence and then apply the effect?

GPU driver-update and reboot fixed it. Thanks for the support, it drove me nuts last night and missed the easy fix.

Try to switch renderers inside premiere pro (between GPU acceleration and Software Only)

I switched to software only but now I get an error msg that says "Effect requires GPU-Acceleration" and it`s not even rendering it at all. So is this a known error or why is it working fine in AE but not Premiere?
