Folders/Drop-down menus in Essential Graphics are not working

So I just installed Adobe Premier 2022. I opened a template, and it has  folders or drop-down menus for photo placeholders and texts in Essential Graphics. When I click on the placeholders folder, the app loads for a while but after which, the folder doesn't open and the essential graphics panel becomes unclickable. How do I fix this?
