Font selection by shortcut key

Is there a way to select a font for highlighted text with a shortcut key. I looked a while ago and couldn't find a way to this, but perhaps someone knows a way or there is some new functionality. I have text banmners I add to videos and only a few words or characters need to change typeface. It would be great to highlight the words and then suimply press a shortcut key to change the font. TIA!
