Footage is cracking

Hello Guys,

from today when i upload my mobile footage, (iPhone 60f/min) footage is cracking. that's the word i can use. I explaning, its like, sound is as like original, but video is jumping, 2 sec forward, that again from the 1st frame, then again 2 sec/4 sec foward and again from the beginning. and when i rander, radered file comes out same, where else original video is completely fine.

please help me out.

Use Handbrake and convert the footage from it´s original variable framrate to constant framerate.

Check out your audio hardware preferences. Make sure they are set correctly.

Hello, could you please tell me, why it's happening? i have edited around 24 videos so far, and never faced this problem. but from today, i'm facing this problem.

Since the original footage seems to play back fine while not playing back well in Premiere Pro the most logical conclusion is that it is related to the variable framerate in the original footage. Generally speaking Premiere Pro and variable framerate footage have issues. So transcoding the footage is worth trying since the software is free of charge.
