Forward Delete not working while saving

For a while now, I’m unable to Forward-Delete when I’m saving an export, or a project in Premiere Pro. It’s been like this since I updated to PP26. I’m currently on V 26.3.0 Build 93, but it has done that on every version I updated to.

The issue is not with my keyboard, not with the key shortcut, and I can forward-delete everywhere else in Premiere, I just can’t while saving.

 

There was an other community post about this which was closed, but never resolved.

    I recommend sending your export to Media Encoder if you want to continue to edit in Premiere while it’s exporting.

      That’s not what I meant, sorry if I wasn’t clear. I didn’t mean ripple-delete, I was talking about the forward-delete key on a keyboard, which I realized I use nearly half the time I title my files.
